Hello, I'm Ms. Lisa! I am the owner and lead teacher of Smart Steps. I have over 30 years of experience working in the Early Childhood Education field. I have been a Preschool Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher, Program Director, Education and Training Specialist, Teacher Training Facilitator, Online Tutor, and a College Adjunct Faculty member. I have a Bachelor and Masters degree in Education (with specializations in Early Childhood Education, Child Development and Curriculum Development).

My Virtual Classroom:

My classroom is designed to make learning fun! I want to get your child excited about learning through hands-on activities in a LIVE virtual program. I have created classrooms of small groups of children in order to make the most personalized learning experience for each child while focusing on each child's social and emotional learning. My primary goal is for each child to have a positive interactive preschool experience and create a lifelong love of learning in each and every child.

I HAVE ANSWERS!

Do parents have to be present?

Yes. Parents should expect to be present or nearby to help out if needed in this program. This will depend on how familiar your child is with using a computer/tablet, as well as following directions.

Do I have to buy any extra supplies?

No. A Personalized Monthly Activity Kit of materials for live classes is mailed directly to your home.

Is it easy to access?

Yes. You can access our online classes on Zoom on any device where you have internet.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. To get the full benefit of our Premium Preschool Enrichment Program, attending the entire school year (9 months) is best though.

What if I miss a class?

If your child isn't able to make it to a live class one day, that's okay! I'll upload the class recording and give you the link so you and your child can watch it!
